Directional estimates. A few inputs come from published research; the rest are internal modeling we'll refine as Daialog usage grows.
- Resume triage time [Published research + modeling] — Ladders 2018 eye-tracking found ~7 sec of screen time per resume. We model ~16 sec weighted (70% quick rejects at ~10s, 30% deeper reads at ~30s) to reflect decision time and cognitive overhead beyond eye-tracking alone.
- Initial screens [Internal estimate] — ~3initial screens per role per week, at the length you set. We'll refine this estimate as usage data comes in.
- With Daialog [Modeling assumption] — Each week, Daialog surfaces a focused shortlist of the strongest-matching new applicants (min 3, max 15) for the recruiter to review in ~3min per candidate. Review time scales gently with applicant volume; today's resume triage scales linearly with every new resume.
- Role duration [Internal estimate] — We assume ~4weeks from open to filled. Used to convert “applicants per role” into a weekly arrival rate.
- Working weeks [Standard] — 48 weeks per year (52 minus ~4 weeks for PTO and holidays).
- Scope [Product scope] — Savings reflect time reduced on resume triage and initial screens. Follow-up conversations with shortlisted candidates aren't counted as saved time.
